Here are the vote totals for all the questions in Tuesday’s budget referendum: in Ridgefield. Voters approved all the items.
1) Town budget and town debt of $46.2 million: 1,481 -505
2) Board of Education budget of $85.2 million: 1,323-671
3) Funding for $1.85 million in town roads projects 1,708-285
4) Funding for the $3.6 million rebuilding of the Gay Road bridge; $150,000 for Town Hall site renovations; and $150,000 for sidewalk construction: 1,466-515
5) Spending $175,000 to buy a Mack truck and $535,000 to buy a new fire engine: 1,371-610
6) Spending $102,800 to renovate the Ballard Park playground and $220,000 to repair the clubhouse at the Ridgefield Golf Club: 1,296-687
7) Spending $100,000 for school security improvements; $265,000 for network operation center improvements; $109,000 for lightning and voltage protection; $100,000 for wireless network improvements; and $105,000 for repairs to the facade at Ridgefield High School: 1,403-575
The town rejected a plan to sell 10 acres of the Schlumberger-Doll Research Center campus to Toll Brothers for $4 million by a vote of 967 to 961.
