DANBURY – Motorists travelling on some streets can expect traffic delays beginning about 10 a.m. on Friday as the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Connecticut Special Olympics passes through the city.
Danbury police officers will receive the torch from Brookfield officers at the town line on Federal Road and run with it to the Bethel town line on South Street, handing it off to Bethel police.
The running route will be from Federal Road to White Street, White Street to Main Street, and then from Main to South Street.
