UPDATE - Still River Drive has reopened.
UPDATE- A motorcyclist was pronounced dead at Danbury Hospital after a collision with a van on Still River Drive Thursday afternoon.
Police were not yet releasing the name of the male victim, pending notification of his next of kin.
Police department spokesman Lt. Larry Ash said the accident occurred on Still River Drive near Lovers Leap State Park about 2:30 p.m. Both the motorcycle and the van, which also had a male operator, were headed south.
The accident remains under investigation. As of 4 p.m., Still River Drive was still closed and probably will not reopen for several hours, Ash said.
A serious MVA involving a car and motorcycle has been reported in New Milford. Still River Drive at Pickett District Road is reported to be shut down, and LifeStar has been requested.
