NEWTOWN — A 62-year-old Sandy Hook resident is facing drunken driving charges.
John Capozziello, of Underhill Road, Sandy Hill was arrested Saturday at about 7:16 p.m. when police were dispatched to the area of 138 Underhill Road on an erratic driving complaint.
Capozziello’s green pick up truck, which may have been involved in a motor vehicle accident, was located in the parking lot at Underhill Road, police said. Investigation led to Capozziello’s arrenst.
He is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs; making a restricted turn/failure to use proper turn signal. He was released on $1,000 bond with a court date of Aug. 12 in Superior Court in Danbury.
