A Bethel teen was arrested Monday for crashing a stolen car in to a home.
Joseanthony Torrez, 19, was driving a stolen Honda mini-van on Mansfield Street when he lost control of the car and hit a utility pole. The car continued through the intersection of Fleetwood Avenue and crashed in to a home.
Torrez and a passenger, who substantiated injuries through the crash, attempted to flee the scene. Both were caught and charged by Bethel Police.
Torrez was charge with larceny in the third, interfering with an officer, reckless driving, evading responsibility and operating without a license. He was released on a $2,500 bond.
