SHERMAN — A new monthly concert series, “Jamboree at the JCC”, kicks off Aug. 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sherman Jewish Community Center, Route 39 South, Sherman.
Local singer/songwriters Frank Chiafari, of Brookfield, and Don Lowe, of Sherman, will perform a mix of original songs and favorites from the Beatles, Paul Simon and Sting.
Admission is $10. Free snacks will be supplied by the JCC to help create a coffee house atmosphere. Those attending are welcome to bring their own beverages and snacks.
This initial Jamboree at the JCC is dedicated to the memory of Stan Darrow.
