3 New Milford residents arrested

NEW MILFORD — Three New Milford residents are facing charges for providing false statements to the police stemming from an April 19 incident.

Matthew Tarvin, 23, and Sarah Tarvin, 29, of Kent Road, and Michael Roberts, 25, of Timber Lane, New Milford are free on bond with a court date of Sept. 15 in Suprior Court in Bantam.

Matthew Tarvin is charged with second-degree false statement, second-degree false report of an incident, interfering with an officer and tampering with or fabricating evidence. He was arrested Friday and released on $5,000 bond.

Sarah Tarvin is charged with second-degree false statement, second degree false report of an incident, and interfering with a police officer. She was arrested Friday and released on a $2,500 bond.

Michael Roberts is charged with second-degree false statement. He was arrested on Sept. 3 and released on a $5,000 bond.
