A Danbury man was arrested on two warrants and threatening police with screwdriver Saturday morning.
Police responded to a tip that Franklin Pennil, 49, who had two warrants out for his arrest, was at his home on Homestead Avenue.
Pennil was initially charged with unlawful restraint, disorderly conduct and failure to appear for those charges in July. In a later date, he was arrested again for larceny charges.
When police arrived at the home, Pennil came to the doorway with a screwdriver in his hands. Officers ordered him to drop the screwdriver, but he refused.
After a struggle, Pennil was arrested for interfering with an officer and is being held on a $5,000 bond.
