NEWTOWN — A 21-year-old Waterbury man is facing 15 burglary charges stemming from incidents between November 2013 and January 2014.
Besmir Redzepi, of Waterbury, is being held on $75,000 court set bond on charges of 15 counts of third-degree burglary, 15 counts conspiracy to commit burglary, and 15 counts criminal mischief. All but one of the burglaries involved the theft of copper pipes, police said.
Redzepi was arrested Sept. 18 by Newtown Police. His next court date for pre-trial hearing is Oct. 6 in Superior Court in Danbury.
