Two Danbury men have been charged with attempted assault in the second degree, after they pulled  knives out on a man.

At 1:30 a.m. Monday morning, Danbury police were flagged down by the victim saying that two men had been threatening him as he walked down Spring Street.

Jose Ramirez, 44 and Oscar Vasquez, 34, approached the victim and started to threaten him, police said. The victim told Ramirez and Vasquez that he was on the phone with the police, the men then ran away.
