Schools Superintendent Tony Bivona praised the high school and students for earning a College Board achievement award related to the district’s three-year consistent increase of students taking advanced placement at the high school. Beyond that achievement, the College Board honored Brookfield on its AP honor roll as students have also shown high performance on the accelerated courses’ AP exam, with the majority of students in those courses earning the top scores of 3-5. Brookfield is one of just 33 districts nationwide and in Canada to achieve this level of rigor and performance.
For the second year, Brookfield High has also earned a Distinguished Achievement award from Apple based on its one-to-one Ipad initiative for freshman students.
