Both drivers involved in the two car crash that happened Sunday at 490 Danbury Road near The Elephant’s Trunk flea market were transported to Danbury Hospital following the crash.
Danbury Hospital reported Monday morning that Alphonse P. Varvella Jr, from Stratford, had been treated and released from the emergency room Sunday.
Sean M. Ellis, of Candlewood Mountain Road, was admitted to the hospital and in good condition Monday morning, according to Danbury Hospital spokesperson.
More details of the accident have not been released by police. Both Varvella and Ellis were drivers in the accident. Varvella received a citation, according to the police log.

NEW MILFORD — No details available as of 11:45 a.m. Sunday on a two car crash thta happened about 8:50 a.m. near The Elephant’s Trunk flea market on Danbury Road (Route 7).
Two parties taken by ambulance to Danbury Hospital. Names not released at this time.
