Danbury is expected to receive six inches of snow on one of the busiest travel days of the year.
A winter storm watch is in effect for Danbury and surrounding towns from Wednesday morning through Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
The morning will begin with rain and snow, becoming all snow after 10 a.m. The National Weather Service predicts a snow accumulation of three to seven inches.
Another three to five inches of snow are possible Wednesday night, mainly before 10 p.m.
The snowfall will significantly impact holiday travel making driving dangerous at times, according to the National Weather Service.
