Christmas shopping still do do? Get busy.
That’s because it’s looks like a nor’easter will be moving into the state Saturday morning.
Meteorologist Bill Jacquemin of the Connecticut Weather Center in Danbury said the snow will be falling lightly mid-morning Saturday, with snowfall increasing through the afternoon and evening.
By the time the storm ends Sunday morning, Jacquemin said, the state could get 6 to 9 inches.. Town’s north of New Milford may get all snow, he said, while the storm may change over to sleet Sunday in the state’s more southerly towns.
Jacquemin said that because the weather looks like it will stay colder than normal throughout the month, the snow on the ground will be staying put.
“We’ll have a white Christmas,” he said
