A New Fairfield man, who was found with 23 bags of heroin in his car was released on a $75,000 bond, according to court documents.
Christopher Ruggiero, 31, was arrested on Dec. 22, after Danbury police were notified of a car swerving in and out of lanes on Padanaram Road, police said.

Police were finally able to stop Ruggiero just before Exit 7. While searching the car, officers found 23 bags of heroin and $557 in cash, according to court documents.
Ruggiero also had an underage girl in the car with him, as well as a suspended licenses. He was charged with possession of narcotics, possession with intent to sell, risk of injury to a child, operating a vehicle under a suspended license, failure to drive upon right and engaging police in pursuit.
He will be arraigned on Jan. 20. Ruggiero was also arrested in April for selling hallucinogenic narcotics and was released on a $50,000 bond for that charge.
