Charter Group Partners, a Brookfield-based company, recently reached an agreement with the Ridgefield Board of Selectman on purchasing the 10 acre parcel on the Schlumberger property.
The town referendum vote on the sale is set for Feb. 24 and Charter Group Partners is in the process of trying to get the word out on what they are proposing. The company will be holding a series of information session on the project. The next session will be on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. at the Ridgefield Library.
The latest plan calls for a condominium development called “The Coach Homes,” which will be for residents 55 years or older, with selling prices starting around $450,000.
The company is planning on building 45 single level “coach homes,” nine townhomes, a clubhouse and walking trails on ten acres of the former Schlumberger campus off Sunset Lane.
