ORIGINAL POST:
It’s going to be another rough morning commute Monday, as snow will continue to fall throughout the day.
Driving Monday morning is going to be dangerous, especially through northern towns like, New Milford, Sherman, Kent, Brookfield and Bridgewater.
Northern towns will see a total snow accumulation between eight and fourteen inches, according to the National Weather Service.
Bursts of heavier snow will be likely in the morning, with snowfall rates being a half to one inch per hour, according to the National Weather Service.
Drivers should use caution as many roads may still be snow covered and there will be reduced visibility.
As of 6 a.m. Interstate 84 looks plowed but slushy, slush can easily cause spin outs. And so far, no accidents to report on the highway.
