On Monday morning, a local New Milford resident, Adam Lavender, spotted one fishing in the Housatonic River. It clearly made his day.
From talking to environmentalists, bald eagle sightings are more common in our area, but it is still unexpected when it happens. And a sight to behold. Keep an eye out. You might be the next fortunate one to see our national symbol soaring over head.
