NEWTOWN — Newtown Police released the charges brought against three juvenilles following the drug sweep at Newtown High School on Feb. 27.
The K-9 unit made a positive indication of drugs on a student’s vehicle in the school parking lot and the search found a small amount of marijuana, police said. The youth was charged with possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana and give a court date of March 16 at Juvenile Court in Danbury.
A second positive indication by K-9 unit brought charges of possession with intent to sell narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia for a juvenile. A court date was set of March 16 in Juvenile Court in Danbury.
A third positive indication by K-9 unit resulted in a juvenile being charged with possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana, possession of alcohol and second-degree forgery. A court date was set of March 16 in Juvenile Court in Danbury.
