DANBURY — Kamden Dunne, 4-month-old, may have been the youngest Irishman at the St. Patrick’s Day festivities Sunday at the Danbury Irish Cultural Center.
Kamden donned a green knit Irish cap to celebrate the day and his parents, Brian and Kaitlin Dunne, and grandmother, Anne Marie Gorman, were proud to see the twinkle in his eye.
“The sun is out. It’s a little bit warmer this afternoon,” Gorman said. “It will bring people out to the parade and that’s what we want — people to come out and have a great time and celebrate with us.”
The 17th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade was led by Irish bagpipers dressed in Irish tartan kilts. They made their way from St. Peter’s Church, along West Street and up Lake Avenue to the Cultural Center.
