NEW MILFORD — A 38-year-old Danbury man is facing drunken driving charges after traffic stop in New Milford.
Edwin Ortega, West Street, Danbury was arrested Sunday about 12:13 a.m. after police responded to a report of erratic driving on Danbury Road. Ortega’s 1998 Honda Accord was found by police as he pulled into S. J. Barrington’s at 48 Kent Road.
Ortega was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and held for arraignment Monday. He was released on $1,000 court set bond following arraignment in Superior Court in Bantam. His next court date is April 22 to enter a plea.
