Just wanted to share these two recommendations for relaxing during this busy season. I don’t know about you, but when I finish shoveling lots of snow in the cold (like last night), I like to do one of two things.
If time is short, I make hot chocolate (easy in the microwave) and top it off with Cool Whip (a staple in our freezer). Then I grab my People magazine and sit for a spell.
If time is not an issue, I take a hot bath, just like a little kid. (People magazine comes here as well.) Sometimes I add bubbles or some body oil. The one I’m using now is ESPA Restorative Body Oil. It’s a blend of sweet orange, rose geranium and lavender. It smells yummy and makes my skin soft. I also recommend watching a holiday movie on the Hallmark channel. Sure, you know how it’s going to end, but at least it’s happy. Happy is good.
