Internet guru John Patrick will make a presentation at West Conn on April 22 regarding his new book, “Health Attitude.”
The book explores the power of information technology in transforming the delivery of health care services in the United States. Patrick, a Ridgefield resident, will discuss his vision for overcoming technological barriers to achieve fundamental reforms.
He will participate in a discussion with Professor of Management Eugene Buccini at 6 p.m. in Room 218 of the Classroom Building on the Westside campus, and he’ll also sign copies of the book.
Patrick had a 38-year career at IBM, where he was at the forefront of the internet revolution. Since then he’s been a proponent for society to embrace the full potential of IT applications in all areas of the economy and daily life.
Admission for the event is free and the public is welcome to attend.
