DANBURY — Two 20 year old city men are facing drug charges after being found at Tarrywile Park Saturday night.
Marcos Aguilar, of Franklin Street, and Jaz Maisonave, of Wilkes Road, Danbury were found in the upper parking lot of Tarrywile Park near the mansion Saturday about 6 p.m..
Officers were patrolling the park as the result of numerous complaints about drug dealing in the parking lots there, police said. On approaching Aguilar’s Subaru, officers smelled a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the car. The investigation found less than 2 ounces of marijuana and an open bottle of Jack Daniels whiskey in the vehicle, police said.
Maisonave was in the car with Aguilar. Aguilar was charged with illegal sale of a controlled substance, possession of alcohol by a minor, use of drug paraphernalia. He was released on $7,500 bond with court April 22 in Superior Court in Danbury.
