The Connecticut Coalition for Justice in Education Funding will take its lawsuit against the state court in July 2014.
A Connecticut trial court judge rejected the state’s attempt to dismiss the lawsuit last month.
The lawsuit challenges the adequacy and equity of education provided in Connecticut public schools.
The trial court judge ruled that the constitutionality of the state’s education funding system must be determined at trial.
Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton was part of the original coalition that first filed the case nine years ago.
