The Connecticut State Police graduated 83 new State Troopers, all members of the 123rd Training Troop, on Jan. 9, 2014.
Several of the new troopers will be serving out of barracks in western Connecticut, and three of them are from the Danbury area.
Of the 83 new troppers, 23 were assigned to three troops in this region.
Troop A, Southbury – 6 new Troopers
Troop G, Bridgeport – 9 new Troopers
Troop L, Litchfield – 8 new Troopers
