Bethel High School holds “Curriculum Night” at the high school Jan. 16 at 6 p.m. in the auditorium. Traditionally, this evening has been well attended by 8th grade parents, but it really is an important night for the parents of 9th-11th graders as well.
The evening will begin with a short welcome from Principal Chris Troetti in the auditorium.
Then, parents of 8th graders will attend a special presentation to learn more about the course offerings and programs.
Parents of 9th, 10th, and 11th graders will attend a separate presentation to learn more about earning college credit while in high school and our advanced placement offerings.
After these presentations, parents will be able to attend 5 sessions from the core and elective departments at BHS.
During the departmental presentations, teachers will share important information about their curriculum and course expectations.
Parents will be able to ask questions and speak directly with teachers and department chairpersons/coordinators about the courses and programs offered at Bethel High School.
Prior to this evening students will have received the BHS Program of Studies. Please be sure to bring this booklet to Curriculum Night. We also encourage parents to bring their child with them since course selection directly impacts their future
