Snowy weather brings out shovels and sleds

On a tour of downtown Danbury and Brookfield, these are some of the images I caught as folks were shoveling, sledding,walking the dog,  or in the case of Brookfield’s town leaders, manning an empty Town Hall with the help of First Selectman Bill Tinsley’s loyal pets: Golden Retrievers Lexi, 10, and Toby, 6.

Brookfielder Doug Farrell and his four-year-old French bulldog, Molly, sojourn in the snowstorm to the Municipal Center on Pocono Road so Molly can stretch her legs a bit. But the cold on her paws led to her getting snuggled on the way to the car.
