Representatives for Ridgefield Supply, the lumber and buildings materials company on Prospect Street, will discuss their plans for revamping the buildings on their 4.5 acre lot at a Ridgefield Planning and Zoning Commission hearing Tuesday.
The commission will meet at 7:30 p.m., at the Town Hall Annex on Prospect Street.
Town Planning Director Betty Brosius said Ridgefield Supply wants to replace all the buildings on its lot. They plans to do this over time, she said, to not disrupt business.
The project will include new retail space and buildings for storing materials. Brosius said the plans call for preserving the old railroad depot on the lot and incorporating into the new design.
