Brookfield Schools Superintendent Anthony Bivona released this official announcement to district staff about Monday’s resignation of Art Colley, the district’s director of finance, technology and operations:
“It is with regret and sadness that I announce that Art Colley has tendered his resignation as Director of Finance, Technology and Operations for the Brookfield Public Schools. Art has been an important member of our administrative team and has made significant contributions in the areas of technology and finances that have contributed to the success of our schools. Art approached his job with great passion and always focused on finding solutions to overcome what appeared to be overwhelming obstacles. From the iPad initiative to school security, Art worked diligently behind the scene to ensure that project objectives were met.
