After months of frigid winter temperatures, even as spring approaches the weather remains unseasonably cold in Danbury.
Since March began, the temperature in Danbury has been about 10 degrees below historical averages everyday so far, according to data on Weather Underground.
That trend continues today, with an expected temperature of 24 degrees versus the historical average of 45 degrees for the day, according to the data. The National Weather Service forecasts for today expect a bit warmer high temperature of 33 degrees.
The contrast between typical temperatures and today’s temperatures will continue until Saturday, when an expected 45-degree high may actually beat out the historical average of 44 degrees.
