The Ridgefield Board of Selectman will meet in executive session Friday at 11:45 a.m. at Town Hall, 400 Main Street, to complete work on a contract selling 10 acres of land at the Schlumberger-Doll Research Center to Residential Investments LLC for $4 million.
The selectmen agreed in concept Wednesday to sell the land off Sunset Lane to Residential Investments, which is a subsidiary of Fairfield County Bank.
But because all the selectmen had not had time to study revisions to the contract in detail, they agreed to complete that work Friday.
After the executive session ends, the board will vote on the contract in open session.
