Though there is no red carpet, the Brookfield Library is giving local residents a chance to see all the Oscar-nominated films, including the Academy Award winner “12 Years A Slave,’’ at no cost; donations, though, welcome.

Popcorn and soda are also provided.

These showings have proved quite popular, with virtually all seats in the lower conference room taken and some folks opting to stand on the sides to get an unobstructed view.

For this year’s Oscar winner, the library again is likely to gather a good crowd, but the date has changed for that screening. The show, “12 Years A Slave,’’ will be offered on Saturday at 12:30. If you want a front row seat, you better arrive a little early.

The other screenings and times are as follows:

Dallas Buyers Club: Saturday, March 22 at 2:00 p.m.

American Hustle: Saturday, April 5 at 2:00 p.m.

Saving Mr. Banks: Sunday, April 13 at 2:00 p.m.

Philomena: Saturday, April 26 at 2:00 p.m.
