Ridgefield anti-blight ordinace goes to voters

Ridgefield’s  proposed anti-blight ordinance will go before voters at a  town meeting on Wednesday,  March 19 at 7:30- p.m. at Town Hall, 400 Main Street.
The ordinance would allow the town to take more action against the owners of properties that have fallen into severe disrepair through neglect or abandonment. However, some people have objected to the proposal, saying it has the potential to be intrusive.
