If you are interested in joining a book club discussion, visit the Brookfield Library that has several different offerings.
On Monday, March 24 at 1 p.m., there will be a talk about the book, “The Orchardist,’’ by Amanda Coplin and then on Wednesday, March 26 there will be a 12:30 p.m. discussion about “The Relic’’ by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child.
If you’re not quite ready for those, there will be several book sessions in April, with a variety of genres to consider.
On April 8, at 6:30 p.m., there will be a non-fiction book talk on “Gifts of the Crow: How Perception, Emotion and Thought Allow Smart Birds to Behave Like Humans’’ by John Marzluff and Tony Angell.
On April 21, at 1 p.m., there will a contemporary fiction book talk on “The Rosie Project’’ by Graeme Simsion.
For mystery lovers, on April 28 at 12:30 p.m. there will be a talk on “Catch Me’’ by Lisa Gardner.
Copies of books are available on a cart by the checkout desk 3-4 weeks prior to the meeting.
