It is always risky for a reporter to predict in a newspaper on Friday what you will be writing about on Monday. The world changes directions and we have to follow it.
But….If the Ridgfield Board of Selectmen does meet Monday to discuss whether or not to accept a $4 million bid from the Toll Brothers construction company to buy 10 acres of land on the Schlumberger property in town.
And if the estate of my hitherto unknown great-great uncle Mattias Moeller does not call me with news I’ve inherited $45 million, relieving me of the need to go to work Monday.
And if a giant fireball does not scream out of the sky, vaporizing the Charles Ives Homestead and scrambling ever newspaper’s plans in Connecticut.
Then, I will be writing about the Ridgefield Board of Selectman’s meeting Monday.
