As I have done every morning through this intermidable winter, I grabbed a jacket off the back of my kitchen chair and headed off to work. Only yesterday, I was wearing snow boots to wade through icy slush that layered my back deck.
So as I drove along, I was surprised to find that I was getting a bit warm in the car. More surprised, I actually wanted to roll down the window, and the sun was making weird glares off my front hood.
Suddenly, it dawned on me. This is Mother Nature’s April 1 prank. Lull us into thinking its spring, and then drop a few inches later in the week just to keep us on our toes.
I’m clearly not the only one who was fooled today. I saw my share of convertibles on my travels. My warning: don’t get too comfortable. To be prepared, I’m keeping my snow scraper andImage may be NSFW.
