If you are planning a family extravaganza to celebrate your son or daughter’s graduation at Newtown High School, the Board of Education made it possible this week to start making reservations.
The high school graduation ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, June 17 at the Western Connecticut State University O’Neill Center at 4 p.m.
The Newtown Middle School coming-up ceremony will be held the day before on Monday, June 16 at 6 p.m.
So order those cakes, make dinner reservations and celebrate. These are lifetime accomplishments that deserve appropriate recognition _ I, personally, will be doing the same this year as my youngest daughter graduates from high school. I just am not so lucky as to be able to make reservations because our date has yet to be set. (Just leave room for us at the Olive Garden!!)
