Thirteen Bethel High School students and their French teachers, Alisa Trachtenberg and Yilber Beshi, just returned from a week-long home-stay exchange trip to Quebec from April 3-11.
This was the Bethel’s fourth consecutive year participating in the international exchange program organized by Bethel French and Spanish teacher Trachtenberg.
The first exchange was a 17-day exchange with a high school in Saint Affrique, France.
The second exchange, the one from which they just returned, was with L’École Secondaire de Bromptonville (ESB), located in Sherbrooke, Canada in French-Speaking Quebec.
24 Canadians and their teacher were hosted by Bethel families last April and Bethel students went to them this year.
Students had an array of activities with their French peers.
