The Bethel Public Library offers a free music program May 1 at 7 pm in the Library’s Community Room.
The show will feature the Senior Melodiers, known as the oldest (age-wise) performing band in Connecticut.
The band members average in their eighties, and they play accordions, guitar, banjo, violin, drums, and washboards and washtubs with energy and joy. The audience is welcome to sing-along, too.
Registration is required. Call 203-794-8756 ext. 4, or register at the website www.bethellibrary.org, or sign up in person at the library.
All Bethel Public Library programs are open to the public and meet accessibility requirements for the disabled. Those needing special accommodations should contact the Library at least two weeks prior to the program to make arrangements. Bethel Public Library, 189 Greenwood Avenue, Bethel, CT.
