BROOKFIELD – A 54-year-old local man is facing first-degree reckless endangerment charge after striking a person with his motor vehicle, police said.
Palmer Collier, of Candlwood Birches, Brookfield was arrested April 15 when police responded to 63 Prange Road, Brookfield for a report of a verbal argument.
On arriving on the scene officers learned that an individual had been struck by a motor vehicle operated by Collier, police said. After gathering evidence from witnesses at the scene, Collier was arrested.
Collier is charged with first-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree breach of peace. He was arraigned April 16 and released on $1,000 court set bond. His next court date is May 22 in Superior Court in Danbury.
