The Ridgefield Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 23, on its plans to sell about 10 acres of the Schlumberger-Doll Research Center property for $4 million to Toll Brothers, a builder of luxury condominiums.
The hearing will be at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall, 400 Main Street.
The sale must be approved by voters at the referendum on the town budget referendum on May 13.
The proposed sale is part of the selectmen’s efforts to sell off portions of the 45-acre parcel in hopes of recouping some or all of the $7 million voters approved to buy the land in 2011.
