Ready for Cider Monday?

You read that right – not cyber Monday, Cider Monday! I heard Byrd’s Books was celebrating in-person shopping Dec. 2, 2013 with cider and smiles at their store, 126 Greenwood Ave. in Bethel, and it looks as if other book stores are doing it, too.
It’s part of the ‘shop local’ and ‘support small businesses’ movement. But for die-hard online shoppers, many local small businesses can also accommodate online purchases, too. If you just can’t bear to go in person, see if your favorites have websites.
