Tilly Foster Day – Spring Fling!
This annual event, celebrating the arrival of Spring on the Farm, marks the opening of seasonal activities and programs at Tilly Foster. Our old friends are shaking off winter’s doldrums and we welcome baby lambs, calves and rabbits.
Saturday, April 27, 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
Tilly Foster Farm, 100 Route 312, Brewster, NY
Sheep shearing, historic exhibits and demonstrations, Rare and Endangered Early American Farm Animals, Antique Tractor Museum and Musical Performance.
Also wool crafts, face painting, bounce house, pony rides and hay wagon rids. music with The Knox Sister – a local duo from Carmel at 1pm – and much more.
$5 parking fee suggested. Additional fees for pony and hay rides.
Tilly Foster Farm is also home to the Putnam County Antique Machinery Association’s display of antique farm equipment and the Avalon Archives – a unique Museum of Rock ‘N Roll. Avalon Archives is open Saturdays and Sundays from Noon – 4:00PM
