The 4th Annual Community Market holds its second week June 20th from 4-7 p.m. on the lawn of the Hurgin Municipal Center.
This week – music will be provided by the talented Wry Bred – a local instrumental group. The contra dance trio Wry Bred, made up of Bethelite Julie Sorcek on flute and saxophone, Mickey Koth on fiddle, and Robert Messore on guitar, has been entertaining dancers and audiences since 2009.
The Poutine King (POO-tine) will be here on June 20th. If you have not tried Poutine – you have to… yummy french fries, cheese curds and gravy. The Poutine King also features hot dogs, mozzarella sticks and chicken fingers – perfect kid friendly food.
Daily Fare is back with her usual delights as well as her new Pasty (PASS-tee) which is a a savory handheld pie. This week, Robin also will feature cinnamon buns, carrot slaw and other goodies.
Bethel’s own Billy’s Southern Style BBQ will have the smoker all fired up and ready to tempt your palate with ribs, brisket, pulled pork or pulled chicken dinners or sandwiches and more…
New this week is the Dough and Company Baking, which will feature Chocolate Chippers and Gluten-Free Chocolate Chipper and other sweet treats.
Our Farmer’s and Winery include Holbrook Farm, Anderson Farm, Mitchell Farm &Sunset Meadows Winery. Also joining us again this year are a variety of craft and artesian vendors – including Olive Oils of the World, Send A Smile Cards, Gemini Dream Jewelry, Diana Kopta, Byrd’s Books, The Toy Room, N4You Soaps, New Bourne Designs, Minatures by Monica, Oragami Owl and many more are signing on weekly. Various civic organizations will also be here.
