Dog Days of Summer, a rescue event hosted by Designer John Bartlett at J. Seitz & Co., 9 E. Shore road in New Preston, will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 28. This event will be held rain or shine.
The Little Guild of St Francis will have six dogs for adoption under a backyard tent at J. Seitz. The Little Guild of St. Francis in West Cornwall is a non-profit, no kill shelter for abandoned or distressed canines and felines.
People interested in adopting can be pre-approved by Little Guild before the event.
There will be a “Doggie Kissing Booth,” raffle prizes and John’s fabulous tees for sale. Proceeds to benefit the LGSF.
