Crews are working Wednesday, May 7, 2014, to repair the railroad crossings on the Danbury branch of the Metro-North line.
All aboard the buses!
Metro-North plans to substitute buses for trains on the Danbury Branch Line for the next three Saturdays.
The buses will carry passengers on three Saturday mornings/early afternoons, instead of trains.
The switch is because of planned testing of the problem-plagued grade crossings.
The dates are this Saturday, July 12, and on July 19 and 26.
The buses will at the following times on those Saturdays:
Departing Danbury: 7:37 AM; 10:37 AM; 1:37 PM.
Departing South Norwalk (to Danbury): 9:09 AM; 12:07 PM; 3:07 PM
Buses will not operate on the train schedule, but will make connections in South Norwalk.
