A service for Benjamin Seitz has been planned for Sunday, Kane Funeral Home confirmed Friday.

The service will take place at 3 p.m. at the Jesse Lee Memorial Church and will be a “celebration of life,” a spokesman said.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has yet to determine a cause of death of 15-month-old Benjamin Seitz, who died Monday after being left in his father’s car car for an extended period of time. Kyle Seitz was supposed to drop his son off at daycare in the morning, but did not do so. Benjamin Seitz remained in the car while Kyle Seitz was at work. He was pronounced dead at Danbury Hospital around 6 p.m. Monday.

Kyle Seitz has not been charged with any crime. Ridgefield police are working with the State Attorney’s Office in Danbury and the State Police Western Connecticut Major Crime Squad.
