This weekend, lots of spotted puppies will cavort onstage at Richter Park, 100 Aunt Hack Road in Danbury when the stage adaptation of the classic animated film, Disney’s “101 Dalmation Kids,” brings a fur-raising adventure featuring Cruella De Vil (played by Abby Giansiracusa of Danbury), and the most adorable heroes to set their paws onstage.
Pet owners Roger (Vincent Fontenelli of Danbury) and Anita (Olivia Cotter of Danbury) live happily in London with Dalmatian parents Pongo (Robert Fontenelli of Danbury) and Perdita (Cassidy Holmes of Danbury), stalwart dogs devoted to raising their puppies. Everything is quiet until the monstrous Cruella De Vil, Anita’s former classmate, plots to steal the puppies for her new fur coat! All the dogs of London must rescue the puppies from Cruella and her bumbling henchmen.
Performances start at 8 p.m. with grounds opening at 7 p.m. each night Thursday, Friday and Saturday, July 17, 18 and 19.
