NEW MILFORD — New Milford police are investigating the theft of some $744 work of merchandise from the WalMart store at 164 Danbury Road.
The shoplifting incident occurred about noon on Tuesday when an unidentified man walked out of the store with three shopping carts of merchandise valued at $744. The reported shoplifter left in a newer black sedan driven by a second person, according to police.
